Her Kollywood comeback movie is a remake of the Hindi blockbuster 3 Idiots. Ileana will reprise the role of Pia (which was originally played by Kareena Kapoor). Call it coincidence or the quality of the character, Kareena was recently announced as the costliest actress in Bollywood, after she was paid Rs. 7 crores for her role in Golmaal 3

Will Dabangg 2 run into copyright issues?
Now, everyones knows thatDabangg 2 is in the pipeline, and that producer Arbaaz Khan will take over the direction of the sequel from Abhinav Kashyap. So the Khan brothers have abandoned Kashyap, but they haven't abandoned his original storyline, which solely belongs to the director. Going by reports, Kashyap and Khan brothers didn't part ways on good terms and they haven't discussed a negotiable copyright settlement for the movie.
Bollywood insiders say Kashyap could confront the Khan brothers with a settlement, or even if the director decides to remain mum, the politics in Bollywood would try to field him against the Khan brothers. Sources close to Kashyap also inform that it is unlikely for the director to do anything against the producers of Dabangg, as it's only because of their opportunity that he gained nationwide popularity.
Whether Kashyap is assertive or reticent, Arbaaz Khan sensing the situation had said that they have the sole rights on Dabangg. He has also said that the original story of Dabanggwas of Dilip Shukla, while Kashyap had only helped in the screenplay. While the copyright controversy unfolds, in the sequel Chulbul Pandey will move from his dusty UP town to busy Mumbai to bash up the bad guys. You can see him on screens by December this year.
