The year 2010 has been successful with two big hits (Adurs and Brindavanam) and left happiness for Junior NTR. Now, the Young Tiger is getting ready for his first release in 2011.
His latest film ‘Shakthi’ is in the final leg of completion and is gearing for release in the last week of March (likely on March 30).
And much before its release, the film has started creating waves in Tollywood. It sets a new record in Nizam area. Sources say that Siri Media bagged the screening rights of the film in the region for a whopping Rs. 10 crore. This is a record till date. Only three films (Magadheera, Robo and Pokiri) crossed this mark in the region, and none of Junior NTR films have touched this mark so far. Now, we have to wait and seen if ‘Shakti’ will cross the mark.
‘Shakthi’ is coming with big hype and high expectations. Touted as the highest budget film ever in the history of Telugu Cinema, the film is directed by Mehar Ramesh and produced by C Aswini Dutt under the prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies Banner. Andala Khazana Ileana D’ Cruz is the love interest for Junior NTR in the film.
